Adam Oldroyd is a freelance writer, producer & director whose diverse TV credits cover wildlife, comedy, drama, children’s and specialist factual programming; including several BAFTA, EMMY, BROADCAST & RTS award winning & nominated shows.

Accomplished director, producer, series producer, line producer, script-writer, edit producer & live producer with 20+ years production experience.

Adam’s work has been broadcast on many channels throughout the world including the BBC, Sky, ITV, Discovery, Nat. Geo. Animal Planet, France 5 & the Smithsonian Channel and includes location, studio, VFX, live, multi-camera, foreign & presenter led filming credits.

He is a wildlife & adventure film specialist, having directed crews in a variety of extreme locations around the globe – deserts, jungles, mountains, caves, at sea and underwater; and his qualifications include IRATA Rope Technician & PADI Advanced Scuba Diver.

Extensive VFX & CGI directing experience for both studio & location based filming.

In addition to his television work Adam is also an award winning scriptwriter and film director. His first full-length, feature film Sideshow premiered at the 2020 Cairo Film Festival and was released in UK cinemas, the USA & around the world by Munro Films / Gravitas Ventures in 2021 / 2022.
